    Class Description
  • Dance Exploration, LLC’s Rhythmic Expressions class is an upbeat music and movement class that gets toddlers shaking, banging, and blowing their favorite instruments while also moving to fun upbeat songs. Rhythmic Expressions is designed as an interactive, play-time dance class with a goal to introduce dance and musical instruments to toddlers.  Class Flow is designed by the ‘Dance to Learn!’® Curriculum with the whole child in mind and has been created around a child’s cognitive, language, social and motor development to form the 5 Methods of Dance™. Toddlers are introduced to new musical instruments every few weeks to keep class exciting, entertaining and fun. Each week, the class structure remains the same with classes beginning with a sitting play time where we introduce the musical instrument. After introducing the instrument we stand and play the instrument while dancing, challenging toddlers to stay in time with rhymes and beats. The class plays and dances together in fun instrument and dancing activities lead by the instructor. The class is lead by a certified Dance Educator who is trained to create a positive “Yes” Environment. The small class size ensures the personal attention needed at this stage of learning. Rhythmic Expressions classes include participation in the Dance Exploration, LLC ‘Dance to Learn!’® at Home with Me™ Program!
